For this purpose, we analyse not only sediments but also modern analogues such as rivers and soils. The group also investigates the artificial acceleration of natural biogeochemical cycles to remove CO<sub>2<\/sub> from the atmosphere more quickly.  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column
